Information We Collect

Account Mapping: The Bengal Exam app uploads your phone number to its API servers at https://api.bengalexam.com

 to link your account with your mobile number.

User Data: You provide two types of information:

Data you submit directly (e.g., during registration, profile creation, or activities).

Data collected automatically as you use the Service.

When you visit our Website, we collect details such as your browser type and IP address. We also use cookies—small files stored on your device—to manage sessions and confirm logins. If you disable cookies, some features (like personalized information delivery) may not work properly.

During registration, you may provide details such as your name, email, phone number, hometown, and other requested information. As you use the Service, you may submit profile data, activity information, messages, and other content. We store this data to deliver a personalized experience.

Use of Information by Bengal Exam

We may also send operational or account-related announcements. Even if you opt out of marketing emails, you may still receive important account notices.

Consumer Control & Opt-Out Options

Push Notifications: You can turn off Bengal Exam push notifications via your device’s “Settings” → “Notifications.”

Cross-App Advertising: You can opt out of interest-based advertising by adjusting settings on your mobile device (e.g., Google Ads → Opt out of interest-based ads).

Use of Intercom Services

We use Intercom (a third-party analytics and communication tool) to better understand user activity and improve our services. Limited data such as your signup date, email, and phone number may be shared with Intercom.

Intercom may track your use of our platform, provide in-app messages, or send emails. Intercom may also integrate with other third-party apps (e.g., Stripe). As part of their services, Intercom may collect publicly available information (e.g., social media handles, photos, job details) to improve your experience.

Links & Third-Party Services

The Service may include links to external websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage users to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites they visit.

We may also integrate third-party services such as YouTube. By using our Service, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service

Independence of Bengal Exam

Bengal Exam is a private Ed-Tech company offering exam preparation services for various Union and State Government exams. We do not represent, claim affiliation with, or act on behalf of any government department or private organization.
